#SalesforceWinter24 – Transfer Ownership of Lightning Dashboards (Beta)

#1MinuteTip #SalesforceWinter24 You can now allow users to transfer the ownership of the dashboards when responsibilities change or the dashboard creator leaves your organization. The new owner has full control over the dashboard contents.

Previously you had to clone or recreate the dashboard when the creator moved on to other responsibilities.

1. On the Reports and Dashboards Settings page, enable the option to ‘Allow users to change dashboard owner (Lightning Experience Only)’

Then from the Dashboards tab or the open dashboard, select Change Owner.

#1MinuteTip #SalesforceWinter24 You can now report on “Public Group Members” in Salesforce. See which users, roles, and other groups have been added to public groups by creating a custom report type.

This will help you manage public group membership more easily. Previously, you clicked in each public group or ran queries to see its members.

1. In Setup create a Custom Report Type and select “Group Member” as the primary object.
