#SalesforceSpring24 – Ask Einstein to Explain Formula in Validation Rules

#1MinuteTip #SalesforceSpring24 Soon, you will be able to ask Einstein to explain the formula used in validation rules. If you are not satisfied with the initial response, you can ask Einstein to provide more details and even do a thumbs up or thumbs down to provide feedback on the explanation.

(I saw this feature in Release Readiness Live on Admin Preview Spring ’24 (link below), though wasn’t able to find the mention of this in the Spring ’24 release notes.)

But it is not stopping there. On the roadmap is formula debugging where Einstein will fix the formula for you rather than just checking the syntax and even create a new formula using natural language description.

  1. Does anyone know what the pricing and license requirements will be for this? I am a consultant, I don’t have my own AE.

    1. Hi Mark, I couldn’t find a lot of information on this. My best guess is that this will be a free feature. But then we will have to wait and watch once the feature becomes available.

    1. Hi Joel, I couldn’t find a lot of information on this. My best guess is that this will be a free feature. And I don’t think this needs to be enabled explicitly. The button will just appear in the validation rule once it has been rolled out.
