#1MinuteTip Here is another great post on Salesforce Architect’s channel on Medium on how to secure your API users. The article divides the API users into three categories – Named Users, Integration Users & Guest Users and explains the different controls you can put in place to secure it.
One take away, personally for me was “Depending on the volume of calls, you may need several integration users to balance the load and avoid reaching the maximum number of open cursors per user (check the maximum number of query cursors open concurrently per user in the Salesforce Developer Limits and Allocations Quick Reference).” – To be honest I never thought about this.
