#SalesforceWinter25 – Sort List Views by Multiple Columns (Beta)

#1MinuteTip #SalesforceWinter25 For a more intuitive experience and to make list views more actionable, you can now sort them by up to five columns. Choose which columns to sort and set each one to either ascending or descending order. To revert to single-column sorting, click on a column header that isn’t part of the multi-column sort. Previously, sorting was limited to only a single column.

Navigate to ‘Setup’ -> ‘User Interface’ -> Check ‘Enable sort by multiple columns (Beta)’, click ‘Save’

Now navigate to any object list view e.g. All Opportunities. Notice, a new sort button is added in the list view buttons panel. Click the ‘Sort by multiple columns (Beta)’

Here, you can select a column from this list view and its sort order i.e. ascending or descending. You can add multiple columns and set their sort orders. Once done, click ‘Save’

List view is first sorted by ‘Amount’ then by ‘Close Date’ as per the configuration.
