Why Switch to Paid Guides?
Dear Friends,
I have been blogging for the past 12 years during which I have kept the content free. I could do this as I had a regular full-time job and running this blog was a part time gig.
Over the years, Salesforce technology evolved (with three releases every year) and this blog evolved along with it. What took me hours, days and sometimes even weeks to figure out, I compressed it into 30-to-60-minute step-by-step guides for you to follow and learn about the new features and functionalities of Salesforce. And while I thoroughly enjoy doing this, the best part about this was getting your feedback and heartwarming comments on how those guides have been helping you in your work and career.
Long story short, I took a leap of faith in the year 2020 and switched to working full-time on my blog, doubling down on the content with more step-by-step guides, courses, workshops, eBooks, document templates and more. But this also meant letting go of my dream job with Salesforce Singapore and navigating uncertainty as I had to rely on my blog for a source of income.
It hence became important to monetize some parts of the blog. So I started with the launch of self-paced paid training courses and now this is also the reason why you see a premium membership plan in order to download the guides.
I am passionate about technology in general and Salesforce in particular. I love trying out new things and sharing my findings with others. I want to continue working full-time on my blog, coming up with more exciting content in various formats.
If you find my step-by-step guides useful, I hope that you will subscribe to one of the paid membership plans as shown above.
At the same time, I understand that for people in certain countries and for professionals early in their career, the price might be a little too high. Keeping that in mind, the step-by-step guides are still available in my blog posts which you can still read and follow along. The only difference is that now you will not be able to download it without subscribing to one of the paid membership plans.
If you do want to download it but don’t want to go for the Annual subscription plan (which, by the way, offers best value for money), there is also a Monthly and a Day plan that are available at lower prices and will allow you to download the guides. You just need to do it faster, within your access duration.
With this shift to a paid subscription approach, I strive to continue providing high-quality guides, videos, workshops, training courses and anything else on Salesforce that can compress your days and weeks of learning into minutes. Rather than leaving you to navigate the jungle, that is the internet, this blog serves as an excavator, cutting down all the unnecessary trees and bushes in your way, only providing you with the information you need to know in order to reach your destination.
I hope this helps to explain why we have made the switch to a paid subscription plan. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I look forward to your continued support
– Ashish
